The office offers research facilities to visiting researchers.

The office has a large and well-equipped logistics department that offers logistical support such as boats (Polarcirkel work boats, rubber and aluminium boats), snowmobiles and sleds, field equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, primus, clothes etc., and safety equipment (radio, warning lights etc.).
