The main office of the Norwegian Polar Institute

There are around 150 employees in Tromsø. The management and departments have offices here. We have laboratories in connection with the Fram Centre and a main warehouse for our operations and logistics activities.

We also have several physical archives and collections, including a library, photo archive, aerial images, maps and a stone archive.
